“who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens”
From our first breath the attuned nurturance from others to survive, develop and evolve physically, psychologically and spiritually is a well documented prerequisite. Optimal age-appropriate attunement from care-givers throughout youth helps build the resources necessary for a well-balanced, meaningful, creative and joyful life and to tolerate stress and change.
However, during the unavoidable ups and downs and challenges during adult life many encounter times where some external assistance is necessary to help (re) discover a sense of balance, direction or purpose.
Sometimes external assistance may be driven by curiosity and a desire to explore inner depths and outer possibilities more deeply.
Alternatively the need for help may be triggered by circumstance and/or internal discomfort, such as:-
- Repatriation – changing country of permanent residence; adjustment.
- An existential crisis (loss or death of a loved one, illness or accidents, divorce).
- One of life’s transitions ( marriage, becoming a parent, children leaving home, growing old).
- Trying to solve problems mentally without finding solutions or lasting change and falling back into repetitive (unhelpful) patterns of doing and being in the world.
- The experience of resistance to (inevitable) change within yourself or your environment.
- (Over) adaption to the needs and pressures from the outside world may be causing some alienation from life essence and vitality.
- The body may be giving signs through discomfort or pain which aren’t being relieved by talking about them.
- More vague feelings of loneliness, stress, anxiety, low mood, tiredness, physical pain, general discomfort or boredom.
Mindful Rebalancing is a journey of discovery. It offers a way to safely contact, connect with, explore, work through and move towards the goals you bring to the sessions and even discover new ones.
